I understand the “fanny pack” is making a comeback, but it has never been an item in my collection. Growing up in the 90’s, the fanny pack always seemed to be a way of the 80’s. However, today gen Z is bringing the fanny pack back. The fanny pack, also known as a waste pack, is not just a fashion statement but offers great utility, especially if you’re a parent carrying items for your kids. As for myself, I just couldn’t see myself needing more than the pockets in my pants to carry what I need… except when I’m grabbing a handful of sweets during Trick or Treat. And that’s why Halloween night will always be the one night wearing a fanny pack will be worth looking ridiculous.
