September Offers Optimal Travel
If you ask me which month the best month is
to travel in, I will say September. For 3 main reasons:
1.
Discounted Prices. Labor Day weekend is really the last of the peak season for summer
travels, which means discounted rates and sweet deals on airfare, cruises, travel duffel bags and
other forms of travel. For example, let’s say you want to do some whitewater
rafting in Colorado, September offers the last chance to do so, as the ice that
melts from the snow cap mountains are limited. That means technical rafting,
but it also means the companies charge less for the rafting experiences.
2.
Less Congestion. By the beginning of September almost all children and college
students have begun school and so that whole crowd will not be traveling. That
means less congestion when carrying luggage or travel bags through airports and
cruises, more options for rental vehicles, and a more pleasant and efficient
experience when doing excursions or site-seeing.
3.
Hotel Upgrades. September is a great time to get upgraded at hotels because of the
lack of booking. For example. I was recently at a bachelor party in Cancun, and
the 9 of us were able to upgrade our single rooms to a 3-story villa on the
beach at only a marginally higher price, because of the lack of guests. This
hardly ever happens during peak season in June and July.
No matter where you stay or where you go, be sure to take advantage of the Duffelbags.com’ s luggage sale where you can save up to 20% on luggage, travel bags, and duffel bags. The sweet deals happen in September!
